Best Oriental - Sydney

Oriental Tattoo honours one of the most respected and storied styles in the industry, drawing on traditional Japanese (Irezumi) and broader East Asian imagery. Think dragons, koi, hannya, tigers, phoenixes, cherry blossoms, waves and wind bars, all executed with the bold linework and rich saturation the style demands.

This category is open for entry. Tattoos will be judged on linework, colour packing, traditional composition, flow with the body, and overall faithfulness to the style. Note: Healed tattoos are not eligible.

Open to small, medium, and large pieces. Sleeves, back pieces, and chest panels are welcome. Entrants must check in at the judging booth on time with the piece clean and ready for review.

Judging takes place Saturday from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
